What do I do if I am missing an accessory?
First, call Velocity Micro Cruz tech support to determine whether the accessory in question was included with your particular boxed unit. This is important as not all accessories shipped with all SKUs to all resellers.
Next, if you purchased your Cruz unit directly from Velocity Micro, immediately ask the Cruz tech on the phone to provide the missing accessory at no cost. Customers are advised to do so within the first 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, if you miss the opportunity, you will have to purchase the accessory. Velocity Micro will not provide the missing accessory at no cost after 30 days.
Finally, if you purchased your Cruz unit from one of our many authorized resellers, you must immediately contact that reseller regarding returning the unit for the purpose of exchange. Inform the reseller representative that the product you purchased from them is incomplete, and you would like a complete product or a refund instead. (Velocity Micro will in turn deal with the reseller.) It is vitally important that you do this right away as every reseller has their own return policy and time window for returns and exchanges. If you miss the opportunity, you will have to purchase the accessory. Velocity Micro will not provide the missing accessory at no cost.
